ABOUT US

After completion of the North American Indigenous Games in Six Nations, July 16-23, 2017, the Indigenous athletes, Managers, Coaches, Trainers, parents and families and supporters realized one thing, lacrosse is a great way to connect to the culture, history and traditions. Lacrosse was used to settle disputes and train warriors. Today, it has evolved to teach the value of community and teamwork and re-instill the pride in Indigenous identity.

Storm Selects Lacrosse has been making a name for itself since 2017 when it was formed in British Columbia. Our experienced coaches train our team to reach the top, maintain sportsmanlike conduct on and off the field, and always have a good time. Check out our calendar to make sure you don’t miss our upcoming practices and tryouts if you’d like to become part of our team! INTERIOR REGION - INDIGENOUS FEMALE BOX LACROSSE CAMP

Saturday, January 25, 2020 (tentative)

In partnership with Penticton Minor Lacrosse Association and ISPARC (tentative), Storm Lacrosse will be hosting an Interior Indigenous Female Box Lacrosse Camp in Armstrong, BC on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 10am to 3pm. Bring your gear (hockey or lacrosse), helmets, gloves, water bottle, pair of running shoes and join Kiana Point and others and play some box lacrosse.
